0.16 inches of rain expected tomorrow and Morning showers on Saturday of up to 0.06 inches....... HOw much will that effect the course? Does it drain well?

The following message board posting from 2014 discusses drainage upgrades.

The quotes come from a March 2014 announcement at:

I don't know what upgrades may have been done later. I was there for NXN in 2013 through 2015. 2013 may have been a wet year for NXN on that course and may have prompted the upgrades. I can't comment now as to the course condition for this weekend after NXN and with an new precipitation.
Minimal impact. Course will be in championship shape like usual.
Like the wimps back East last weekend, bringing their cross country races to the road, maybe they can move the race into some closed indoor shopping mall.
Wouldn’t want anyone to get wet now would we?
The course is primarily crabgrass and it snakes through a large field. Both of those things create a natural surface that does get too muddy.
The course does not drain well at all

What do I think? You're concerned about 0.16 inches on Thursday and up to 0.06 on Saturday? That will barely register on my windshield, let alone a cross country course.
It'll probably be soft but not super muddy.
I was there last week for NXR. There was a fair amount of snow melting but it was still in good shape. They were good about fencing off the wet parts of course last weekend so the turns didn't get torn up on run throughs.
Bad for the Cheaterfly crowd.

What??? 0.06 inches of rain. It will most likely snow or sleet. The high for Saturday is 37 degrees. It will be cold and miserable as usual.
Crabgrass has deep roots and does not get muddy. Water can be standing but it will not impact footing.
Don't forget your square donuts before going out to watch the meet. Those things are delicious.
