There is no early signing period any longer.

No idea when Tuohy will commit, but I've heard that she did her officials at NC State, Syracuse, Providence, Michigan, and Villanova. Hart, Vanderlende, and Tuohy at Michigan would make a formidable top 3 that would be very difficult to beat, but if she went to NC State they would be almost impossible to beat. NC State has/will have young talents in Chmiel, Schulz, and Alyssa Hendrix, in addition to upperclassmen talents already competing there, and the addition of Tuohy would bring them to a whole other level.
You left off NC State's two top recruits: Marlee Starliper and Claire Walters.

I found the following page search at the NCAA website. Maybe you should inform the NCAA of their mistake.

You should have read it. There is no early period for track.
Heard she decided last-minute to go on an official visit to Iowa State... interesting

Whoa, if Tuohy joins NC State then we're looking at 2012-2017 era Golden State Warriors of women's distance.

I'll inform the NCAA that there are LRC posters that think "signing day" applies to xc/t&f!!!
Any "signing" you see is simply for show for the HS, the parents, coaches, athletes, and their local paper.
The college hats and sweatshirts and piece of "paper" their "signing" are just show. Not legal. Not binding. No words, really!
Real Signing happens in Football and Hoops. Those are real.
Second and Third tier sports, it's just show.

I mean they are actually signing stuff, the period just started in November and doesn't really end.
Three of my runners signed yesterday. Yes they really signed NLIs even though the largest one was only 10%. They are bound by it the same as football and basketball players are. The signing period is open continuously until August.

Yeah, not really though.
Football and basketball signees are actually signing a contract committing to the school in exchange for the school paying for tuition and r&b.
..As in, 100%.
NLI for runners is just a show.
Nothing binding by that signiture or that 10% "offer"

I don't know what your deal is, but you are just flat out wrong. The amount of the scholarship doesn't have anything to do with how binding an NLI. When a football player signs an NLI for 100% or a Track runner signs one for 50% it's the same thing. Basically that for the next year you play for that team or you don't play. Don't respond again without citing some sort of proof.
It is common for track athletes to sign for books. The contract is binding. The school provides books and the athlete is bound to attend that school. If they back out, they can't compete anywhere and they lose a year of eligibility.

Thank you both for the correction. I thought it ended on the 20th. I first looked at a different website which either had the wrong date or where I looked at the wrong sport for the end date. With the period from Nov 13 to Aug it may take a lot of pressure off the athletes but I wonder what the coaches think about it. Before the athletes may try to get their official visits in before the early signing window if they thought they wanted to make an early decision. Now there is not a rush which may make scheduling visits easier for the coaches. My child received offers days or a week or more after the visits. The coaches said they wanted to talk among themselves and their current athletes after the visit to make sure they were a good fit. I wonder how long coaches will give recruites to decide after giving out an offer? I don't think they would want to hold a big offer given in October or November until spring much less August.
To the athletes out going on official visits I would recommend not being a weirdo or jerk. This especially applies to high school boys. Don't be jerks on your official visits when you are around the members of the womens team. Your actions will be remembered and be communicated back to the coaches and others after your official visit.
Tuohy has taken official visits at NC state, Providence, and Michigan for sure. Not sure on her other 2
Need to map out a game theory model.
of those the only two she follows on instagram are UMich and NC State
Not that it says anything, she could choose to be very private and not follow her #1 interest program...

Just some technical corrections...there are actually two kinds of documents. There is the NLI. This is a horrible contract that mostly restricts and limits the student athlete without offering any real benefits. The grant-in-aid is the paperwork that commits the school to scholarship money. There isn't any valid NLI without a grant-in aid, but a grant-in-aid may occur without an NLI.
There are ways to be released from an NLI, but it is difficult.
