Yet again, your comment assumes that there is a “normal” behaviour and actions for a victim. This is a fallacy. You should just admit that you have ZERO clue what you’re talking about.
I’m not sure why you, Jimmy and Fred are confused. What part of a 17 year old cannot consent to sex with a person who has authority and/or power over them? Whether MB pursued the relationship, or didn’t end it is irrelevant. Was she under 18? Yes. Was DST a teacher, coach, babysitter, scout leader, or any other person identified by statute or case law as being in a position of authority? Yes.
Your feelings on MB’s morality are irrelevant.
Your questioning of MB’s behaviour is irrelevant.
At the end of the day you cant escape the two basic facts stated above.

Guelph was the running capital of Canada. Now it is a place where you get injured running on rutted ice.

Fred Urie - you seem more off-kilter than normal today.
The implosion becomes an explosion... with collateral damage.
This is a head-scratcher. I never saw anything written by Boyd which was untrue or unprofessional.
Score another victory for anonymous posting, I suppose....
"Queen’s University has dismissed Steve Boyd, its long-time track and field and cross-country head coach, who said he was terminated Wednesday because he was outspoken about how the University of Guelph handled the scandal surrounding its coach, Dave Scott-Thomas."
Ask those who were on the team bus...

I hear coastal carolina is looking for a coach...
To further interrupt the off-topic insult swapping this thread mostly devolved to, I didn't see anything contentious from Boyd because the problematic posts weren't on LR or Trackie.com -- but a mega-thread on Facebook page a week ago. Having skim read that just now, I still don't see anything blatantly inappropriate. Condensed version... OP says there is more to Guelph running than DST and it wasn't all bad. Boyd chimes in suggesting Guelph's dynasty under DST is tainted and consideration should be given to vacating titles. Boyd and Coolsaet (and others) ping pong points and it gets personal. Cancel-culture mob forms. Boyd called "disgusting" and "a massive a$$hole" and said to have "shown zero respect", made "very hurtful comments", be "victim blaming", etc. "OK Boomer" meme posted.

That is at best a disingenuous accounting of that thread. Boyd made repeated personal attacks and direct/indirect accusations about people’s involvement in the coverup (his allegation, with no direct evidence to support). He claims he is being professional and even, something that almost all would dispute. His own assistant coach counsels him to back down and listen to people’s comments. He showed no real interest in hearing anyone and repeatedly fixated on removing titles. Really the same activity as on trackie, it’s all about him and what he wants.
And on trackie he swears at people, attacks them, and generally bullies people. Not at all shocking that he was fired for this behaviour.
I hate to revel in anyone’s misfortune, but this is just too delicious to not comment.
Boyd has been so obsessed with Dave over the years that it is like a Greek tragedy that Boyd’s own downfall is due to his own unflagging need for vengeance against Dave and Guelph.
If Boyd has just taken the high road he wouldn’t be in this situation, but he couldn’t help himself. He had to keep at it. I am sure he is at home right now blaming Dave and Guelph for his being fired.
coles notes on 2014 CIS After Party please
so according to Boyd logic Queens needs to vacate titles? we need Boyd's opinion since he is always right and those who disagree with him are not worthy of walking this earth

Can anyone give me cliff notes for this entire thread?
I just need cliff notes for what's going on in this thread and what its all about.
Not to sound rude or anything but I don't have time to read through 63 pages of 10 to 11 paragraph replies on each reply for a topic I have never heard of before.
Thanks to anyone that can give me cliffs.
