Translation: you never learned to read.
DST had money, power, and fame. He knew better than to start this, knew better than to go to great lengths to cover it up & destroy MB’s credibility. But at least he also knew stupid people would cover for him forever.
oh, that was the reason, ok, thanks for clearing that up......so maybe you know why it took them so long? Oh, wait, that's right, UofG just found out about it, had no info whatsoever (despite DST told to stand in the corner for 4 weeks back then?....which he apparently didn't do). I applaud you keeping up protecting the gryphon brand.

So a 17-year old and 38 year old are both exchanging love letters. And they start a relationship and you wonder who is exploiting who? My goodness, you are stupid.
If a 17-year old who had just recently lost a parent expressed a crush on me, I'd say, "I'm so sorry about your loss. You are really vulnerable right now and trying to feel a void. Let's get you some counseling and the good news is running might be able to fill some of that void."
I certainly wouldn't' start having sex with her and then blame her if we did.

Do you think the 21 year old who is now a doctor who works with kids in sexual abuse had the same rational logistically empathetic mind she has now?
I would not know what her rational logistically empathetic mind is now or before.
Empathy involves mirror neurons in x part of the brain and rational logistic brain is probably some component of the prefrontal cortex. Perhaps those connections were not closed at 21, but if they were congratulations.
What does this have to do with a discussion of MB? Why did she take a running trip to the forest behind his house post 30? What's the neural circuits involved in that?

Fred needs to read the law. It doesn’t matter if she was infatuated, or initiated the relationship. The onus is on the coach because THAT is the position power.
What law? Oh, wait a minute, you're a troll.

Neither would I.
Matter of fact in this day and age, I would not have consensual sex with any woman unless I was married to her. And even then you have to wonder.
So-called balanced writing is not always appropriate and often results in poor journalism, when the evidence or in this case testimony far outweighs the contrary. Writers should not trip over themselves to produce so-called balanced journalism; its an unrideable unicorn.
Doyle reached out. He heard nothing back. He wasn't doing a "balanced" article anyway - this wasn't a cub reporter talking about a flea market expansion to NIMBYs or a minor fender bender in the suburbs and he isn't a war correspondent letting the west know about the latest ISIS car bomb, providing the five Ws: What, When, Where, Who, Why and sometimes How. The purpose of this story was to bring the light apparent abuse, which in itself is by definition one-sided thing to do.
By the way satire, standup comedy, movie scripts, hip hop lyrics, poetry et al, are all forms of media in their own medium and are rarely if ever balanced.
Did you watch movies, Vice or The Post yet?
Megan Brown produced an overwhelming amount of testimony. Doyle would have to scribe-up the most sublime piece of opinion to somehow balance an article intended to illustrate (report on) the apparent goings on in Guelph dating back to 2001, it would have been Pulitzer-worthy, but alas, I, like Doyle experienced, no one was saying anything.
I got nothing back from DST, U of G, Guelph Police, Ontario Police and little more from AC.
What I got back from quite a few former DST-coached athletes was this line:
"He is just dealing with some personal issues right now."
A totally fair and understandable response, given the circumstances, but that's that we have to deal with.
So kudos to Doyle for doing good work.

Confronting her demons, fred.
If something horrible happened to you while out birdwatching you might want to get back out there and face it.

You're a regular born again incel, fred.
Fred pretending you be intelligent, yet his posts just dig his stupidity deeper.
I think Fred has been watching bird’s too long. he still can’t figure out what a position of authority is.

This is a great point. How can I say they knew for sure when I have to admit I didn't know for sure but had strong assumptions. Well two reasons. They lived through it and went to school and secondly, I heard from two of those four. I also heard it from others who heard from the same two of those four. The 3rd of the four may not know but I doubt it since the third is now a spouse of one of the four.
So you are a liar by your own admission. You previously stated for "A FACT" that you knew that Reid, Trent, Hillary etc knew of the abuse that was going on, yet now you say that you only "had strong assumptions".
I guess the rest of your vitriol has been lies too.
I leave this thread for a few days and Jimmy and Fred are still at it. -rolls eyes-
You are playing on my words but maybe I wasnt clear...what I should have said was I know for a fact that they believed it to be so...and now in hindsight what they thought to be true came to be...so you are correct at the time they had strong suspicions but now in present day all the information they had in the past turned out to be correct...but at the time they could not be 100% sure without actually witnessing. This happens often in law and its a technicality that gets people off...

There are no demons, or confronting them. That is a fantasy statement. I.m not a birdwatcher; I'm a naturalist. And yes the chemicals used to destroy unwanted invasive species in Preservation are destructive to various species. That can be observed, without invoking the word demons.
So you ask me to email you information but you edit and delete the majority of my posts here...and you are to be trusted with the information I would give you?
