Ryan and Sara Hall's daughter has committed to Grand Canyon University in Phoenix! Thoughts? I'm assuming the location was the only reason she'd go there. But why not be coached by Mike Smith right there in flagstaff???

Hanna is pretty good, I'd say GCU is about right for her considering they adopted her and they probably wouldn't want her states away. Sara Slattery (formerly Gorton for us oldies) is the head coach there and seems to be friends with the Halls.
GCU is a Christian school...guessing that may have been a factor.
Of all the people to hate on, the Hall family is last on the list. They are truly good human beings.
Last year she was the Arizona state champion in XC and took 2nd at the NXN regional. She's pretty good.
I have met Ryan Hall in real life and he is truly such a kind person. I'll defend him and his fam for life.
Is she the one that's like 20 years old and running in HS?

Ok boomer
All the best to her!
Lots of posts have been deleted. The post is about the Hall's daughter committing to college. Pointing out that it's a christian school is relevant. Talking about whether religion is real or not has nothing to do with the topic at hand and will be deleted.
Start another thread about religion.
Listen to Ryan’s interview on The Forward Podcast with Lance. Hanna’s academic adjustment in the U.S. was a real struggle. It would appear the only thing preventing her from going to a more reputable program is purely based on academic performance.

How about not starting any thread on religion?
