I had an eh cross season after putting in a lot of work over the summer, near end of season my garmin would show my hr to be very High
An example would be like
150 first mile
158 second
166 3rd
172 4th
182 5th
Sometimes I even hit 190
And this was running 7:30 pace and my mile Pr is sub 4:50!
My race warmup for the last race of the season was like 185 and I was jogging at 8:20 pace
Then took a 9 day break
And today I go out to run an easy 2 miles
My joints were a bit sore and it’s 13 degrees with a 16 mph wind so feels like -3
Heart rate was 140 for 1 1/2 minutes
150 for 3
Then I stopped at the local track and stretched
Then I ran for 4 more minutes and it went from 170 to 190 and my heart rate was faster than my cadence, I stopped because I was worried and my heart rate which I took manually about 20 seconds after was 180
What should I do?
I’m really worried and don’t want this to be a problem when I actually start training for track.
I don’t hydrate super wlll but my pee is never like golden yellow
I try to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night but 2 nights a week I probably get 7 hours flat
These last 2 days I was hunting and had 5-6 hours each night but my heart has been high before this so it’s not a new problem.
