This man has run the second fastest marathon time in history. He has held 4:38 pace per mile over 26.2 miles. But he still looks pretty out of shape, kinda like an ex D1 runner hobby jogging his way to sub 18. Legs don't have definition and torso could stand to shave off a few pounds. Compare this to Kipchoge who looks like a lean, lithe, running machine. Very, very different. Even Kimetto and Kipsang have a starkly different look than Bekele. Could Bekele dominate the marathon if he lost 10 pounds? Should we send him to Al Sal?
Discuss.
