When or why won't the Vomero 15's release? Vomero 14's are over a year old right?

Good questions. There is absolutely no information about this shoe. The 14 was released in November of 2018.

Yeah but most Vomeros before that were released in spring. There hasn't been any pictures circulating showing the 15 whereas everybody knew how the 14 would be several months before the release. So probably no release date any time soon.
Vomero 13 released right around Thanksgiving in 2017, hopefully we see something by end of month
still can't find anything on these. Never ran in any other version but these were perfect for me for eating up miles.
The vomero 14 was perfect for logging miles. The damn things feel like they might never wear out. I'll find out what's the deal with the 15 in a few days, hopefully the infinity react didn't end the line.

That's what I was starting to worry about that these won't update and compete with the infinity reacts.

Honestly I wouldn't be super worried. I'll pick up Infinitys and see about it. React is the real deal.
Happy Vomero wearer here, came across a website this week and jagged two pairs of 2014 Vomero 9's in my size (1 pair of 9.5 left + women's sizes), pity about the colour though, my other ones were black:

Nike Infinity react is a stability shoe. It killed the Air Zoom Structure line.
The infinity react only has the sidewalls. No posting. Any neutral runner can wear it.

Yea because stability shoes with postings are history. Brooks Guiderails is an example of the current philosophy.
I have read that the new nike pegasus 37 is going to the same setup as the vomero 14 with a react foam midsole with a zoom air unit. this might mean the end of the vomero line. i currently have my second vomero 14 in rotation and might stock up on more.

That is unfortunate if true. It was only awesome for the one version.
I feel like there's room for the Vomero to go in a more maximal direction. It's gotta do something different because the Pegasus and Pegasus Turbo don't leave much room at the moment.

I can confirm that the Peg is going to basically fuse with the vomero in an upcoming model. can't recall if it's 37 or 38 though. I don't know if the vomero is sticking around but I wear-tested a Peg and it's nothing like the Peg 36. seems like react but I could be wrong.
The Vomero 14 is still a great shoe . Tim recommends Vomero for long runs , VP's for racing , Streak LT for racing , Turbo for LT runs . Thats all you need .

I have 2 pairs of Vomero 14s and prefer them to Pegasus. I wear them for easy runs and long runs. I also wear the Turbo 2 for faster runs like you. Perhaps moderate runs are the only ones that I do not have a Nike shoe at the moment. If I ran them on treadmill, I could wear the Epic React 2 but I don't like that shoe so much for running outdoors. Of course I have shoes from other brands. For example the Hoka Rincon is a great option for that purpose or the New Balance Beacon or the Brooks Launch.
agreed, I don't know of a smoother "right" cushioned shoe to eat up miles that has a traditional drop. Why tease with one release of a totally redesigned Vomero that is universally appreciated and then ghost it.

I like wearing my Streaks on the treadmill . You don't need the cushion , and I tend to focus more of stride rate , and not worry about leg fatigue . I like the Peg 35 , but really don't need it since they relaunch the Vomero 14 .
