Yeah, that's the way I see it. They blew their load screamin about Russia for 2 years, then what? A big fat ZERO.
To me they are just trying to do an end around the election process. If you can't beat Donald freakin Trump do you really deserve to govern?? Is there not a sane Democratic governor or Senator out there to run?
Yawn.
Once voted on by Congress, impeachment requires a 2/3 majority (67) in the Senate.
The Senate is 53 Republican, 45 Democrat, and 2 Independent.
Impeachment would require 14 Republicans to switch votes. That's not going to happen. This whole impeachment farce is a sideshow.

Oh really? Nothing came out from the Mueller probe? What about the 34 indictments? What about the conclusion that Russia interfered in the election? That's not nothing. Every American no matter if Republican or Democrat should be concerned about that.
Cool thread, bro.
The general stupidity of the public really does make me sad. Simple logic a little bit of reasoning and an open mind to how truly f’d this world is goes a long way.
Question 1) how can you stomach politics that has devolved into a back and forth smear campaign?
Question 2) how have the facts of corruption influenced your ability to do anything about it?
It’s not trump who corrupted our government, it was already so far gone that a person like trump who has zero experience in government was able to get elected.
So please sleep uneasy at night knowing that you can go out and vote in our next election for some old rich white dude, or a fiendishly misguided woman, even an Uncle Tom who is hip sounding and woken in the true sense, or who knows maybe a black trans with a performing arts degree and an opioid addiction, it doesn’t matter because you can’t cut off the head of a snake and expect an adorable puppies to grow back in its place, no matter what
Why am I not surprised to find do many visitors to this board so willing to be made political pawns?

"Up or down."
I think 14 Republicans could vote against him. There are numerous reports that up to 30 current Republican Senators would remove Trump from office if the ballot was secret. I came up with 12 so far that might actually buck the party and vote either because they are moral/ethical and want to uphold their oath, dislike Trump or are in a state with a changing demographic and are up for re-election. Up for 2020 Elections: Corey Gardner - CO - State that is turning purple Martha McSally - AZ - State that is turning purple Joni Ernst - IA - Possible Chuck Grassley - IA - Possible - I get the sense he hates Trump Susan Collins -ME - Moderate Republican Generally, already voted against Trump in Healthcare debate Thom Tillis - NC - State that has potential to turn purple (New England Technology Triangle Transplants) Richard Burr- NC - Doesn't like the Trumps - Subpoenaed Don Jr. Ben Sasse - NE - Possible Murkowski - AK - Moderate Republican Generally, already voted against Trump in Healthcare debate Mitt Romeny - UT - He hates Trump Mike Lee - UT - Not a great record voting with Trump - 81% Lamar Alexander - TN - Retiring in 2020.

That's a fantasy world. No way, that is just not how politics work. If anything the GOP is hoping that the Dems will over play their hand and lose the House and then you have Trump 2020-24 + pick up some House seats.

Lol, they couldn't even get ONE House Republican to vote for their impeachment inquiry, and there's plenty of Republicans who don't like Trump.
Democrats have been trying to impeach him since day 1, they've just been desperately looking for a reason, and this is the best they could do. Lol. It's all theater.
The vote was to set up the rules for the public inquiry. The same thing happened with Nixon there was a party line vote coming out of committee and strong GOP support for Nixon. Until there wasn't and he had to resign. I think the same thing will happen here if there is stong enough evidence in the formal public inquiries. One problem I do see is that DJT won't be smart or savvy enough to resign if he does lose support from the GOP.
One other thing in regards to Nixon was he was actually a decent moderate republican who passed what today would be some pretty liberal ideas. Trump on the other hand is a terrible president and person and only cares about himself. I clearly don't care for DJT but I think besides Nixon lying to the american people he was a decent president which can't be said about DJT. He's just a liar.
As if I'd ever watch youtube drivel.

Someone who doesn't even know what impeachment means would ideally keep his maw from wagging.
In light of the mounting evidence [that Trump will be reelected and the Dems have no other option] Trump's impeachment is a foregone conclusion.
Of course he will not be removed and will be reelected anyway.
But it will be entertaining to see Hunter Biden and then Joe Biden be examined under oath by the Republican senators at the trial regarding their obviously corrupt activities in Ukraine.

Yeah, the Dems have been saying they were going to impeach him since the day they won Congress.
They know now that their pool of candidates has turned out to be more of a cesspool, so they are going to go through this big show, and impeach DT and then the Senate will nix it and it will all be over with.
This is just a big show to appease their base and try to get some traction in 2020.
The only wild card is DT himself who can't shut up enough to protect himself. He is apt to say anything, and that could be his undoing.
You nailed it completely!
Hey, its me your average Trump supporter. I believe in conspiracy related to the deep state such as 9/11 being an inside job and other wacky stuff. The deep state is totally trying to take down Trump at every step, making up all kinds of fake news. But he is unstoppable! Just look the deep state that orchestrated an attack on its own country and killed thousands of Americans along with countless other conspiracies including all kinds of false flag shootings designed to take all our guns away but they can't get Trump! He's just too smart. These things I believe, they are true. I am smart.
Doesn't this seem totally plausible? It makes perfect sense. The same deep state than can pull off these crazy conspiracies is too dumb to take down the great Trump! Greatest business man alive! He's a genius. It makes a lot more sense than any of these fake news things about him being corrupt and abusing his power as the president! Why would he do any of that? He loves America and is a great business man! He doesn't need to stoop to the same levels of corruption as Hilary Clinton who by the way hates America along with all liberals who ever existed.
I am smart. Trump 2020!

No U.S., participation, no “winners” or “losers”, no Versailles, no Hitler, no WW II, no Cold War, no Korea, no Vietnam...
Our “friends” in Europe can go F- themselves, unless of course YOU have a 20 year old to die for those rats.
Many Soviets had similar feelings for different reasons. Soviets saw Great War/WW1 as a Fascist/Imperialist/Colonial Power war. Post Great War, Germany's economy still would have been sh&t even without U.S. involvement. There was extreme decadence in Germany at the time. See Cabaret. Cabaret only touches on the decadence a bit. White working-class gentiles were not happy in 1930s. There always was going to be a response to 1920s decadence in Germany. If not Hitler, a Hitler type.
