Mathew Kisorio, won at the time of 2:07:06. This is the best Marathon finish of the last weekend.
Back in 2012 he was tested positive for steroids and admitted the use of them.

He broke the course record and got 60,000USD bonus.
Dishonesty and cheating never pays, oh fúck, 'ang on a sec...
Interesting case since he is one of the few to fully admit to guilt.
Was not aware he tested positive in 2012.
Though no one is surprised at the fast time and course record. For the last few years the race was held in hot and humid mid Sept.
Hopefully early Nov. will be permanent.

So is pretty much every Kenyan/Ethiopian winning a major marathon these days. But race organizers keep on inviting them. So the incentive to dope is still very strong. Maybe the Chinese government can punish the race organizers of the Beijing marathon , maybe that would help.
Chinese don't care. Probably gave him some free gene editing in the lead up to the race to ensure a course record.
That was 7 years ago. He has done his time and learnt his lesson. He is clean now.

Are you a comedian or something? Kisorio never stopped doping - he appeared on the FB hacked WADA document from 2016 as "Likely Doping!" ?

And I am likely joking. Doesn't mean it's certain. Innocent until proven guilty a second time.
Someone know his management?

For a convicted doper who continues to run fast times? Also on that list is a Ukrainian sprinter who is a convicted doper - do you feel the same way about her?
Furthermore, the nations of Kenya, Ethiopia, Ukraine & Belarus are currently on the IAAF's "most at risk for doping" list. You don't make that list for nothing you know.
https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1068060/kenya-and-ethiopia-identified-as-among-countries-most-likely-to-dope-as-iaaf-introduce-new-regulationsMaybe he's just a damn talented marathoner?
Awesome for him to make a comeback and not give up on the sport.

Just another Schwazer/Gatlin (who also kept winning prize money and was put on our relay teams even after his 2nd ban). Doping is worth it, evidently, even if one gets caught.

IAAF profile says Juan Pineda.
https://www.iaaf.org/athletes/kenya/mathew-kipkoech-kisorio-227166He’s had several athletes busted, and represents a lot of suspect ones.

This. Kisorio could stay on the juice, keep training, and come back like nothing happened. This is why lifetime bans need to be a thing.

Pineda is closely associated with Jama Aden and took over the coaching and management of a lot of his athletes (at least in name, not sure how much in actual practice).

The sport continues to dish out some world class comedy.
