Alright sub-elites and hobby joggers, last call for a custom poster. I got an extra poster board just in case. I'll be at/near mile 6.

If no other takers on that poster board, there is a big group who would love to see Thorsday!

Please explain and what's your goal pace?

It's a running club in Iowa with quite a few members racing this weekend. Alas, I am not one of them. I do know many read Let's Run, so perhaps there will be more chime ins.
For the full there are runners hoping to go sub 2:40 and up from there. For the half, 1:15 and up.
The jerseys have a green viking on them. With a hammer, of course.

You got it, pal. Look for a "Thorsday" sign in green letters.
I also wonder how many letsrun clowns I saw on the canal this afternoon getting their last jog in.
Here's your sign(s):
Thank you kind sir. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

This is awesome! I so wish I was able to do the race.
At Bru Burger now. Wearing a grey/black hoodie and a blue running hat.
Hope everyone had an awesome race!

I’m the dork that yelled “let’s run!” and gave you a thumbs-up around 48 minutes in. I ran past thinking “what the hell does that acronym mean?”... then I saw the second sign with “Thorsday” and remembered this post. Thanks for the mental diversion.
Hope everyone had a good race. The cold wasn’t as bad as I expected. I have very little experience running in these temperatures, but I managed to remain reasonably warm and eke out a small PR. It was super convenient to stay in the hotel until 15 minutes before race time, do a quick warmup, then head into the corral and go.
I yelled my best approximation of your name (not sure I got the right number of sub sub elites in there...or maybe I forgot 'local') and "gobble gobble!" It was just the boost I needed to go up a gear near halfway.

Yea, I heard that one! Loved it! Definitely thought about shortening my user name, though, it takes awhile just to type in.
I heard plenty of "letsrun" and DBAP out there. Thanks, I appreciated it and had fun! Might need to refine my sign game. A fold-up presentation board and a poster board were too much to handle, even in a light wind. Also hope to be running the next one as well.

Just wondering how many LRCers headed over to Bru Burger?
Hansons had a big group at Bru on Thursday night.
