I'm surprised rekrunner hasn't focused more on this statement - it seems he dosen't want to discuss this and probably wishes Salazar had never said anything like that.
Many times we have brought up performance improvement estimations with PEDs given by a top scientific researcher and a world-renowned IAAF anti-doping expert (Malm & Schumacher), only to have rekrunner sternly lecture us on how we shouldn't put a lot of creditability on Malm & Schumacher because they are not coaches of elite athletes, and therefore do not have the the experience with elites to make such estimations.
But here's Salazar, who's not just your average run-of-the-mill elite distance running coach, but an iconic, world-renowned and highly respected coach who gives a specific performance improvement estimation with doping and rekrunner doesn't accept this as gospel, and has gone as far to state in another thread that it's without basis? Strange thought process he has. ?
