Here is a style guide. It doesn't mention it specifically but I don't think many people are putting whitespace before the end of statement semicolon.
Just threw up all over myself reading "int x = 5 ;"
You're either the guy who thinks it's the space before, or the guy who doesn't but still neeeded to check with us to be sure. It's not looking good either way lol.
Java and javascript are two separate things
First off, Java and JavaScript are two different languages.
If you’re talking about JavaScript, it will still work space or no space. No space is better style.
JavaScript also has loosely typed variables.
Meaning you don’t need to declare a data type such as int. In JavaScript, you declare a variable with var keyword.
