Women’s products maker Always is at the center of a fresh "feminist" v transgender skirmish, after removing the discriminatory Venus symbol from its packaging.
The company will drop the universally recognized symbol from December, following tweets that noted women aren’t the only ones who menstruate.

The logo in question featured the initials “MHC” organized in such a way that the “H” and “C” also formed the Venus symbol — the pictogram that consists of a circle with a cross below it, often used to represent the female gender.
That symbol, as well as hot pink versions of the logo, drew ire from some students and alumni online. One former student, Tessa Ann Schwarz, wrote on Twitter that the Venus symbol made it seem like no transgender or nonbinary people ever graduated from the college.
“Speaking as one of those trans alums, you all will not be getting my money until this is changed, and I am not alone,” Schwarz tweeted.

As a gay guy, I’m not a fan of the whole addiction to being offended that seems to be pervasive in the “LGBTQ community.” People usually assume that I’m straight when they meet me. People say “heteronormative” things around me all the time.
Does this bother me? No, not even a little. Most guys are straight, so people will assume that you are straight until they know otherwise. If a new coworker asks me if I have a girlfriend, he isn’t attacking my way of life. He’s just asking me a reasonable question in light of the fact that most dudes date girls.
Likewise, the vast majority of people who use tampons identify as female, so the product is marketed accordingly. Not really a big deal.
Stupid as hell.
All this trans/pronoun/queer theory nonsense feels like a conservative psyop. This nonsense is killing the left.

I'm surprised the Venus inhabitants hadn't complained already about the co-opting of their symbolism.
I for one breathed a sigh of relief. Logos on feminine hygiene products are exceedingly important, the moral equivalent of slavery. Cisgender privilege must be ruthlessly stamped out.
Sanitary towels or napkins like Always are old hat and bad for the environment. Nowadays menstrual cups are what's used by all the kewl girls and women. Oops, I meant to use the one of the new wokeabulary words for humans of the ova-producing and childbearing sex there - menstruators, bleeders, uterus-havers, hatchers,gestators and carriers.
By far the best menstrual cup on earth that monthly shedders can buy is the PrincessD Menstrual Cup, whose promotional materials boast that it's "the only menstrual cup in the world endorsed and co-owned by a double olympic gold medallist champion, Caster Semenya."

I'm a super liberal cis gay male.
I think representation is important. But is this kind of an overkill? The vast majority of people who use sanitary pads are cis gender women.
I guess it's good, in the end. It doesn't hurt anyone, and it only gives trans men some representation. Maybe I just need to get used to the idea.
The world is evolving and that's a good thing. Maybe I just need chill out.

In the UK, clinicians and physician trustees at the NHS gender clinic for children and adolescents have resigned because they believe the medical transing of young people is an unfolding health and medical-ethics scandal that in the future will be likened to the use of Thalidomide and lobotomies. They say transitioning kids and teens is the new anti-gay conversion therapy, a de facto method of "transing away the gay."
Many people who advocate and/or are caught up in transgenderism are deeply homophobic. For years now, lesbians have been harassed by "transbians" - het males who now say they are women - for not wanting to date or bed anyone with a "lady dick" and "brovaries." Just google the "cotton ceiling."
So far, girls and young women who identify as gay trans men have not been as aggressive towards gay guys, partly due to being raised and socialized as girls, their lack of sexual experience, and their fear of males. But now that huge numbers of girls and young women are "coming out" as gay men, this group is beginning to say that gay guys should be willing to have sex with them too. And that an unwillingness to do so is evidence that gay men are prejudiced "genital fetishists" full of hate for trans folx (sic).
Many young people into transness are now saying being same-sex attracted is inherently transphobic and wrong because "exclusionary." Indeed, they say that any sexual orientation other than pansexuality or omnisexuality is amoral because the doctrines of "acceptance without exception" and "total inclusivity" in all situations means everyone should be open to having sex with everyone else on the planet. In their view, all discretion equals discrimination and is therefore bad.
I wish it were true that the fad for medical transition is "not hurting anyone," as you say. But the stories of young people caught up in this cult are heartbreaking.
