Yes, use duck duck go.

KAMPALA, Uganda — Team USA is going for the gold.
LetsRun.com arrived in Uganda this afternoon for the 2017 IAAF World Cross Country Championships, which will be held at Kololo Independence Grounds on Sunday. On our flight from Nairobi to Uganda was none other than U.S. cross country champion Leonard Korir, who was traveling to the meet after spending 10 days training at altitude in Iten, Kenya.
?
It's called xenophobia and racism combined. An old fashioned sport made famous by a lunatic named Adolph Hitler. Nowadays practiced by neo-nazi's and sodomites.
This is so idiotic. Korir wasn't gifted his citizenship by accident of birth like most of us. He earned it. Army service is no joke, no matter what his MOS is. Lots of guys show up for basic training thinking of careers or goofing off for a couple years and get sent packing because they can't get in shape, can't follow orders and never learned to live without mommy doing everything for them.
Does Korir have great genetics? Of course he does - but so does every single elite runner, no matter where they were born. That's how they got to be elite. I want the strongest possible American team in Tokyo, and if Korir has earned the right to represent us, you bet I'll cheer for him.
Hmm. Don't seem very American to me after reading some of these posts. Not rooting for him that is for sure

I wonder what percentage of the innumerable racist comments pretending to be from the US actually are. It'd be informative to post the IP of these people just to collect a statistic

You think these racists aren't American? Do you know who your current president is and how he got elected?
I think there's actually a lot of people of Kenyan, Ethiopian and other east African country descent born in America (there's your supposed "superior" gene pool). The question is "Why aren't they drawn into distance running while growing up in America?" Perhaps because it isn't a particularly high-prestige sport?
Why would a team of the 10 best Japanese marathoners (male or female) kick America's butt in a marathon team competition? Maybe because the marathon has more prestige in Japan?
Good old LRC whiners who are complaining of these "genetically superior" Kenyan runners need to get a grip. Also need to stop the racist BS. If American-born (i.e. White) runners want to compete on the world stage of marathoning, they need to see the value in it and work for it.
You're more likely to get talent out of the Ethiopian gene pool. Kenyan numbers are still relatively small. But hey, we're such overachievers, we gave you a president.
Where's the outrage over African American sprinters? Their genetic advantage is too much for white sprinters to overcome!
Many of these WCAP guys came over here and developed under our collegiate system and have continued to develop here while fulfilling their Army requirements in WCAP

Wariner proved that is a farce. As did Kilty, Guliyev, Warholm, etc, etc.
WCAP is just another farce. As are you for not knowing crap about the sport.
His time on Sunday puts him in the top 100 marathoners in the world at 83rd. Except for Galen getting in the top 200 has been a struggle for the U.S. men in the past years. It's nice to the U.S. represented at that level. He is certainly the best U.S. marathoner right know.

What did you read that makes you think he “don’t seem very American”?

Rumor mill is that Stanley Kebenei will be debuting at the Olympic Marathon Trials. He, like Korir is monstrous on the roads. ADP and WCAP will send 2 or 3 guys on the marathon team.
Leonard Korir
Stanley Kebenei
Elkanah Kibet, Augustus Maiyo, Haron Lagat, Samuel Kosgei, Girma Mecheso
Don’t forget other Kenyan born athlete
Bernard Lagat
This will make the trials very, very interesting - especially on that course. Given the injuries and coaching turbulence, Galen is no longer a "lock," although I wouldn't say he's in trouble. Should still easily finish top 3 but winning the trials is definitely not guaranteed now.

Korir joined the army for the opportunities it provided; not to fight. Don't make him out to be some uber patriot.
Many US citizens join the military for job training or the free college tuition provided and not because they are some "uber patriot". Korir wanted to become a U.S. citizen and race for this country. He found a legal way to do it that involves service to the country. Good on him.
Unless they entirely of native ancestry, every American competing for our country has roots elsewhere. Their parents or grandparents or whoever came here for economic reasons. Korir came here for economic reasons too.
There is no native born American male marathoner that is going to run anywhere close to 2:07 anytime soon if not years. Very glad to have Korir. Earned his citizenship and now can be a role model and example.

Rupp is no lock for a top 3 spot. He is no longer the same runner Salazar cultured. If Rupp manages to get a top three it will be luck more than anything else . . . . and I expect him to be completely spent at the end regardless of where he finishes. If Rupp doesn't think he can get a top three finish expect him to simply DNF . . . . save it for a money marathon another day.

You’re right! So let’s get some Kenyan ringers so we can make believe the US is a distance power again.
Agreed.
I'm backing our East Africans for the win.
