The plan was to hit a big workout tonight with Ruslan, but because we got started too late and Wethersfield HS didn't have lights on the track, I pushed the big workout back to tomorrow, and instead moved Friday's light workout up to today (and made it a bit easier). The assumption here is that it's okay to do a subtempo in the dark, but crushing 1200s in the dark is a guaranteed way to ruin a workout. Bummer, because I was feeling pretty good today!

Morning workout in Glastonbury before afternoon classes back in Hartford. Reps 2-4 involved some running in Lane 2 to get around the gym class miles going on. Legs were tight from the 100s in last night's workout; it was my first time doing 16x100 on the track (as opposed to on turf).

Goal was 3:21 down to 3:15, but that wasn't going to happen today. Especially solo, and with a bit of wind on the track. Not to mention the fact that I started off a bit fast. But I'm happy with the effort I gave today!
