Is this a smart idea? I've got quite a few races coming up and figured I'd slot them in the day before my long runs, replacing a few hill sessions/steady runs. Wondering if anyone used XC as part of their plans.
Sidebar, this is UK XC, so it's hilly, and muddy, and wet. Always.
Also, this may be at the edge of it all, but there's no way I should run a race the week before (i.e.) in taper time?
