I just find it strange that Kara's Wiki page basically removed all mention of Alberto Salazar from her BIO.
I used to support Kara, but once I look at the timeline of events, I just find it so awkward to do so. And her recent attempt to now politicize her grandfather's death to speak out against Trump is even more awkward.
So Kara was coached by Alberto from what?
Alberto Salazar (2004–2011)
Jerry Schumacher (2011–2013)
Mark Wetmore and Heather Burroughs (2014 - present)
Nearly all of her great accomplishments besides her NCAA accomplishment were under Alberto for nearly 7 years? How convenient is it to benefit professionally for 7 years and not say word and then make the accusations to distance oneself from doping once she cannot no longer compete at the top level in 2015.
2005 - Her professional comeback after injuries and set PRs in all distances
2007 - She got bronze medal (now Silver) at World Championships
2007 - she won the Great North Run in 1:06:57 beating Paula Radcliffe
2010 - Gave birth to son
2011/2012 - Returned to form running decent Marathon Times.
Few decent yet lackluster races for her standard after 2013.
