Another uneducated Letsrun poster.
Kara got a Silver in Osaka because of an extremely weak field. She took 9th and pr'd a year later in Beijing. Confused or should I explain it again?
She ran a downhill 1:06:57. Take that away and what is her 1/2 pr? Still confused?
She broke 2:26 twice. As a female runner, that is solid but nowhere near the top American.
Kara was lucky she was running when she was as she's barely better than Emma Bates today---but the American Women's marathoning did NOT have the depth when she ran like they do today. If she ran today, she'd be known, like Emma Bates, but not known like you, Kara Fan Man!
All of those others are nothing outstanding, just teams that she made for the U.S. due to weak Americans, aka NO DEPTH.
Again, the silver, which made you so proud to post is due to a WEAK FIELD. That's factual, not personal. Throw the Beijing field in there at Osaka and she's 9th, not anywhere close to 2nd.
As for doping, I have ZERO clue on that and would never call her a doper unless it was proven.
