Didn't see a thread about this yet so decided to start one. This weekend we're coming up on 2 weeks out from race day on November 3rd. Weather forecasts don't quite extend to race day just yet, though even if they did it would be wise to take them with a grain of salt and pack gear for any weather occasion. My odds are on it being a crisp and cool low to mid 40s for the race with light rain being a coin flip. I took the post-race poncho bag check option, aka no bag check. I'll wear sweats I'll donate prior to the start.
Personally, I'll likely be going with singlet/shorts, light tech gloves, light tech arm sleeves, no hat/no sunglasses. 1-2 Gu's depending what's available on the course. And last but not least, bandaids on each of the boys (nips).
Wave/corral assignment: Blue Wave 1, Corral A. Shooting for a low 2:30s showing.
To anyone who has run NYC before - it looks like a pig pen at the start line on the bridge, how long were you loitering at the line and what was your general experience with that process?
Good luck lads/lasses.
