I’ve been having pain in upper hamstring lower glute area, a bit to the outside, felt mostly at fast speeds or even at walking after workouts that include fast pace like short intervals. It is felt when the thigh changes its direction when it starts to move downward towards the impact. This pain is felt also when doing the exercise where you drag the belt of a turned off treadmill with you foot.
I’ve been trying to solve this with all kinds strengthening exercises for the glut and the hamstring- heavy deadlifts, heavy one leg deadlifts, dragging the treadmill belt, leg curls, bridges- etc. it does get better, but never cured completely, and if doing a short interval workout it worsens again, especially track workouts where you run on a curve.
Any suggestions how to cure this?
