I was also battling bud rot the last few weeks on a couple of not very resistant strains. Other strains were fine. Not sure which Portland for you, but I am in Maine. We had a nice sunny stretch until about two weeks ago when the temps jumped down 10 degrees and lots of moisture (fall...go figure). I'm thinking about using autoflowers outdoors next year - everything I've read says the ruderalis genes are mold resistant, plus no anxiety waiting for flowers like you said. I know I'd be trading size with autoflowers, but I might try to squeeze in two sequential harvests next year with the autos by starting them inside. Fingers crossed for you on making it to month's end...
Oregon. We'll be fine (I hope), just taking unusually long. I've got early winter trips to Maui and Palm Springs in the works, last thing I need is a late harvest!
Good luck!
