Anyone else consuming macros similar to mine, i.e. high fat, high carb, low protein? I started tracking calories again to loose a few lbs and was shocked to find out that I only eat around 15 percent protein at ma (it often lies closer to 10 percent). Most running days it will be around 45/40/15 and on rest days, when I try to go lower carb (less fruit etc..), most of my calories come from fat, still with the same amount of protein.
My diet is very clean, I don't drink, don't eat fast food, fats I cook with are mostly butter, olive oil. Also I consume a moderate amount of unsweetened peanut butter everyday.
Now I wonder whether I should try upping the protein for a while, especially since I don't seem to recover as well as I used to from upping mileage again.
