Rosa makes the NOP look clean
Rosa makes the NOP look clean
Look at that awkward AF picture with Paula, she is so PO’d her record is broken hahahahaha
For years I had a hard time accepting Radcliffs time and just chalked it up to pacers and past PED’s (potentially) given that it was so much faster than the very next best woman. But as the years ticked by, and times started getting closer and closer, I thought maybe this is legitimate, maybe she didn’t cheat after all?!?!? But this......this is laughable! There’s no way in hell she ran that race clean - NO WAY!!!! The improvement is just too great. Had she run 2:16 or even 2:15 I might have felt differently but it’s too disconnected from the competition. KB running 2:01 adds cred to Kip’s 2:01 in competition but it’s like someone running 1:56 suddenly-WTF!!!
HER BLOOD AND URIN NEEDS TO BE TESTED BEFORE AND AFTER THE RACE OR I WILL NEVER ACCEPT THIS FALLACIOUS RESULT!!! It’s either that or :
THE NEW JUICE HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!!

No. You found someone who is advocating for clean sport.
And for you clean = slow. Fast = dirty, with exceptions being, 1. Athlete is your favourite, 2. Athlete is from your country.
If she's doped we will probably know it in next months/years. It's also possible that she will never get caught. The other possibility is that she's clean.
You can only BELIEVE which one is true, but until she didn't get caught we don't know

In Daniels VDOT 2:14:04 is equal to 13:57 at 5k and 29:01 at 10 k and 1:03:55 at half. This must be a fake result. I hope WADA nail her soon.
If Daniels told you the earth is flat would you believe it?
Brigid Kosgei's Marathon performance is far better than a 29:01 10000m. Since Marathon courses differ, it is hard to make an exact comparison from 10000m on track to Marathon, but 10000m performance x 5 in the past was close to Marathon time. Those runners who did both and leaned more towards 10000m, the ratio was closer to 5.1 to 5.3. The Marathoners who invested little time in their 10000m performance raced Marathon to 10000m x 4.? We now are in an entirely new paradigm. Back around 1960, Ethiopia used to send 100m athletes to Summer Olympics. Due to the wealth of European and U.S. nations, Olympics will continue to allow 2:12 Marathon-types. It seems the key going forward is to have grandparents and parents who were born and raised at altitude (5000 to 8000)ft. Going forward, long distance athletes, not born and raised at altitude are going to have to use illegal drugs to compete. There are several million in U.S. who have several generations of heritage at (5000 to 8000)ft. If their kids do not compete, no more successful U.S. 10000m & Marathon athletes.

The whole thing is just bizarre. When EK broke the record in Berlin, it was a whole celebration almost between EK, fans, race directors, etc. People knew it was coming, and it was just a matter of when.
Today, Brigid shows up and smokes a 16 year old record, almost out of the blue--a record everyone thought would just stand forever. She didn't look at all thrilled, the race directors were pretty apprehensive.. it's almost like she made it too obvious and everyone knew it, so people were kinda lackluster in their celebrations, knowing it is going to get exposed as a cheat soon enough.
When Bekele ran that 2:01, everyone was excited. Today, a lot of people are like "Oh sh*t.. she pushed that one a little too far"
Imagine if Mary Keitany had done it. I think there would be a totally different response. A lot more emotional, heartfelt recognition of history being broken and an awareness of the years of pursuit it took.
I know I've seen Kosgei win before, but after the Olympics I chalked her up to another Sumgong, Jeptoo flash in the pan for a couple years, soon to be forgotten after doping news. I ask for forgiveness if I'm wrong to assume, but it's hard to not be guarded. Not everyone has the same reactions to wins and loses, but she seems a little dead-faced to me. So different from jubilation. I wouldn't be going by this dubious judgment of body language if it weren't for who her agent is though.
Agree! If it makes Paula go away Kisgei can dope!
Brigid is looking pretty hot in that pic!

Seriously this was an amazing race from start to finish. Sucks that NBC messed up the coverage.
Not the Olympic Channel, all was perfect with them.

How long will it take before Paula throws doping accusations her way?
I don’t care if Paula does. We alll know this is a 2:21 marathoner at best who gained 3 minutes due to Cheater shoes and 4 due to drugs. Voila! 2:14.
RACIST LOSER!

It is very obvious to everyone that you are clearly the racist here. Reported for racist comment!
So a Russian and a Kenyan got close (sorta) to Radcliffe's 2:15 but their times were scrubbed for doping.
Radcliffe is a suspected doper/blood manipulator/or something.
Brigid Kosgei has annihilated Radcliffe's WR with a massive PB?
INTERESTING!!!
Beardsley ran his first marathon in 2:47:14 at the 1977 Paavo Nurmi Marathon in Hurley, Wisconsin. In subsequent marathons, he steadily lowered his times: 2:33:22, 2:33:06, and 2:31:50. Beardsley is the only man to have ever run 13 consecutive personal bests in the marathon, and is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the feat.[1]
In 1981 he and Norwegian Inge Simonsen intentionally crossed the finish line together holding hands in a time of 2:11:48.[2] According to Beardsley, "It was a big deal for both of us because neither one of us had won a marathon before."[3]
His finish time of 2:09:37 at the 1981 Grandma's Marathon stood as a course record for 33 years until it was broken in 2014.[4] Beardsley placed second (2:08:53) on the heels of Alberto Salazar in the 1982 Boston Marathon,[5] breaking the Boston Marathon course record and the American record.
It took Dick just 5 years to go from 2:47 to 2:08. I don't think Dick cheated, as I ran with hi m on a couple occasions during this timeframe. Don't jump to conclusions about Kosgei. She was plucked out of the air and became a talent. We can just watch and see, and it was a great performance!
This is a joke! It’s only a matter of time before this has an asterisk or is void due to doping. Kenyan doping is rampant AF!

Show your evidence. I am sure there are numerous posters on this site who have raced a Marathon at a pace which is only 90 seconds slower than one's 1/2 Marathon pace. Eg., Kosgei is a 65:30 1/2 Marathoner and a 2:14 Marathoner. I am sure there are men with similar personal bests.
