Forty years ago when I was 13 or 14 years old, a charity basketball game versus a Big 10 women basketball team, 11 ministers and one non-basketball playing junior high school 5'6" or 5'7" kid, me. I ran circles around those women. Could a non-basketball player 13 or14 year old boy do that today? Most likely not. Women sports have improved. Women sports have improved not based on drugs as you are implying.
That's a good point and a GREAT story.
I don't think your comparison works today. Random 14 year old boys just are not big enough to hang with the women in basketball, although it turns out some 15 year olds can in soccer.
