NAZ will actually have more athletes on the Olympic team than Al. OK, Beaverton, I'm waiting for your reply.
The big fish to punish is Nike and their CEO.
Salazar and his runners should all be banned but they are the small fish. Nike supported NOP, and many other suspicious runners and athletes like Armstrong.
Nike is the athletic big bank - too big to fail. But it is time they should be penalized big time.
If anything, they only got a big prize during 1:59 yesterday... ridiculous.
I hope athletes start speaking up. Some Floyd Landis should jump out. Kara goucher - time to lay it all out

Thanks for posting. I trust you understand your post will be ignored, denounced or explained away. After all, hamstring pain is a well-known side effect of panic attacks induced by moral failure, lack of courage, or suppressed guilt.
PS How was your race?

It took years of fighting by Greg lemond and Travis and others to get down Armstrong. NIKE are the big fish and it will take time but they should be punished big time.
Only courageous athletes who will not only fight but also admit a change
Many of these posts are a pile of speculation and ignorance and a few border on misogyny. This community frequently expresses that the sport of running is failing, but it is so hurt by doping scandals that it often fails to see beyond it, even when it is plausible, or likely. Guilt by association or guilty until proven innocent are corrosive and immoral. This is exactly the virtual reality actively being disseminated here. I do believe this community wants to improve the sport of running, but a different approach is needed. Stop being the Twitter of running.

Hope she can be 100% by the trials because I really want to see her make an Olympic Team.
I don't. Given her injury problems, she is not who I'd want on the Olympic team.. the odds are pretty high she wouldn't show up in Tokyo ready to go. I'd rather have a few 2:25~2:28 runners who are gritty and reliable than a 2:20 runner that has a 30% chance of showing up.

I don’t feel bad for her at all. Cheaters out.
Glad that Jordan, Galen, and Mo who defended their dirty coach had a terrible day in Chicago today. That’s a victory for clean sport.
This is the kind of crap that’s giving LR such a horrible reputation. A lot of runners I know won’t come on this website because of this nastiness. Almost all the discussion threads are like this. Too bad there isn’t a better website for running news.

That’s what I was saying. She isn’t in injury pain, as she isn’t limping or grabbing anything, but she was having a panic attack and couldn’t pull it together.
Appearances can be deceptive:

Hahahaha, daddy fishing for sympathy. Really, WTF? This is a grown woman who has FOR YEARS CHOSEN to be associated with Salazar and NOP despite the rumors and the investigation. Makes one wonder about the whole family's idea of ethics.

Psychological meltdown can break you down physically. Tipo, Jordan and Moe had a psych. Meltdown with all this Salazar suspension business. The focus shifted from “hows your fitness doing for the race” to a “what you think of Salazar’s suspension and how deep in this pile of dirt are you in?” It makes an athlete loose concentration, creates stress and your adrenaline glands will play foul on you. Last time I checked they are humans too.

Saying that I hope the careers of runners that associate themselves with dirty coaches fail, is what gives LR a bad reputation?
Then I hope that reputation gets much, much worse runnerdave.

Crazy how Nike won the big prize yesterday...

The hamstring is the first thing people go to when they want an easy out. I know a guy that does this often. He'll set a goal that is not achievable and then deep into the race when he sees it's not possible he'll "cramp up" and have a hamstring strain. The last time apparently he was even leading the race by a good margin. Hasay saw Kosgei's supreme pace and went home devastated 23 miles early.

Exactly so. Nothing on here except how Paula doped, El Gourouj doped, Dibaba doped. Sad, really. No proof. Just throw it out there like it was fact. The charges against Salazar didn't even concern any of his runners, especially current ones like Hassan. No matter. Ban them all! It's silly. But the founders of this website care about clicks, not truth. And nothing gets more site traffic than these silly conspiracy theories. The website name should be changed to "Lets accuse".

It’s a victory for clean sport that the dopers we’re currently mad at got beat by the dopers we’re not currently mad at?
This is such a sexist thread. All you morons defending Hasay and shredding Rupp!
Hasay chose to stay after the fact no one forced her. The NOP elites thinking they were going to be above the law forever.
Rupp gets hate for, interviews, family, training, racing, religion, shoes, college and even his gpa.
Meanwhile, you’re all blubbering over poor Jordan. Mention her weight, training, mother, school, lack of friends that were previously BFFs and the post is removed in a hot second.
The girl has a tough road to make the team in a few months but I suppose if she doesn’t it will be Salazar and Rupp’s fault. Get over yourselves she wouldn’t look twice at any of you and doesn’t need another daddy to protect her.
