Jordan Hasay was a DNF in Chicago today after recording a 5k split of 22:20 (7:11 pace/mile) which is on pace for 3:08:28.
Very unexpected as pre-race she was talking about the American record and working with Betsy Saina to go out at 70:00 for the half.
Jordan Hasay drops out after going out over 3 hour pace

Unexpected by who? Her?
-
Nike asking her to lie about AlSal must have weighed heavy , Paula Radcliffe on the other hand has no problem doing this telling the BBC this week she see's nothing wrong with what Salazar did .

Hmm.. seems like she was hurt early on then and tried to make it work but couldn't. I was super excited to see what she could do today so this is really unfortunate. Hopefully it's nothing major but it doesn't seem great.

What’s the point in this post? I was half expecting to see some useful information in here like LetsRun actually talked to Jordan or someone in her camp and found out what happened. Nope, typical turd LR non-reporting.
-
Guess I'm an idiot then. #NOP
-
That's disappointing because it seems like she's done this before when she was hyping up how good her training has been and then pulled out of Boston 2018.
Hope she can be 100% by the trials because I really want to see her make an Olympic Team. -

Her "camp" was suspended for 4 years systematic cheating and couldn't comment. -
Exactly. So when someone says unexpected...

Hmmmm. I come to the boards specifically for these quick updates. You have to wait for reporting. I just want to know who won and places and if anyone dnf. You expect a full reported article within minutes? -

Letsrun boards have gone to the dogs, nothing but pages of me-too hate posts. Hard to find anything of value -
American women may as well just quit the marathon. None of them will ever get close to sub 2:18.

We know LR has never been a reporting site, not a journalistic fiber in the bunch.
Reposting results is just that. Making sensational assumptions for headlines somewhat like a supermarket tabloid is more like it. Putting up posts taken from interviews in the press tent is lazy, trying to ask gotcha questions and making a blind interpretation is just that. -
So what happened to her and Rupp. All the hype and then this. Couple of losers is what we have here. Not the first time.

You realize these athletes don't just get tested after the race. Your comment makes no sense -

This is absolutely a question worth asking from running journalists. One day you say you're going to go out at 5:20 pace, a day later you trot out at 7:11 pace and drop out. We should all be asking Why? -
I am done following Jordan and Galen.
