Hey guys just wanted to post a workout prediction based off of this workout, 3 x ( 800m at 5k pace, 800m recovery, and 800m at 5k pace) then one final 800m after in 2:29. Entire workout was averaged at 5:42. The 800m recovery wasn't a jog it was more like 6:05-25 pace. The last set was a grind but I was able to feel relaxed. I've been running 60 mpw and haven't raced because I'm an unattached athlete. I'm gearing more towards track season but I really want to hit a fast 5k, 8k, or even a road race. The terrain was mostly grass with a few hills.
