I had a good summer, running 85 - 100 mpw consistently with 1 -2 workouts per week and a long run of 15 - 20 miles. Training was going well and felt like I was in about 1:07 - 1:08 shape, then my hamstring flared up causing me to drop the workouts completely and cut my mileage to 45 - 55 miles for a 3 - 4 week period.
Last week, however, I was able to get back at it with both a 4 mile and 6 mile tempo at 5:25 - 5:30 pace while logging 80 miles for the week. Yesterday I hit a 10 mile steady effort at 5:44 pace. I know I'm not in 1:07 - 1:08 shape anymore, but any predictions on what you think I'm currently in shape to run? My prediction would land about 1:10. Thanks!
