I've been looking to online coaching and was hoping to hear about people's actual experiences (frequency of interaction, how well-tailored/non-cookie-cutter the plans were, what was good, what wasn't, what was unexpected).
I really like Tinman and his philosophy. But my impression upon writing him is that while it's a personal plan, you don't really interact much or check-in after workouts. It's basically 150-200/month for the plan. Does that seem correct? Has anyone worked with him recently?
I know of the coaches that advertise here a lot (JS, CCG, etc.), but as opposed to links to sites, am hoping to hear people's experiences with specific online coaches.
If it's helpful, I'm 36, so a bit older, run 5:06 (mile)/18:52/40:50, so have a tiny bit of speed but am lacking in endurance. I run 45 mpw currently. No running background before 4 years ago, 2017-2018 had some injuries, so rebooted this year. I really love to understand why specific workouts are in place, and not simply following a plan.
