Anybody run in the Kinvara 10 and use a Garmin running pod?
I keep an eye on my GCT Balance on a regular basis and have been noticing whenever I wear this shoe, I also have some odd reading on this stat.
Currently i'm averaging 53.1-46.9 on this shoe with all other shoes going back to 2018 averaging 49.94-50.06
Even with the Kinvara 9 I averaged 50.08-49.92.
Just found this odd given it is quite the outlier with this metric.
Triathaletes really need to stop posting here...
Yeahhhh, definitely not a triathlete.
I am a sales analyst by trade however so I tend to analyze any data I have available to me and GCT Balance is something I track since I tore an Achilles in 2016 and still have not built my calf strength up sufficiently.
So, after experiencing Achilles pain in the same leg each time after wearing the Kinvara 10 (but with no other shoes), I looked at the data and saw this metric was a complete outlier for this shoe.
Saucony is taking the shoe back as defective so there must be some known issue with some of these.
Ground Contact Time Balance explanation for those who don't fall in the "who cares, just go run" group.
