Wrote a book titled "How To Raise A World Champion" before the world championships and then comes home with ZERO medals among any of his sons. Biggest fail of the WC this year?

Aren't the same person who thought Joshua Cheptegei would do the 5000 instead of the 10000 at world's? Right now if I was him, I would be proud of how my sons competed. 4th in 3:31 is very respectable.

If I "were" him. It's called the subjunctive mood.

1. I was never two good in grammer when I was in school.
2. I have a hangover right now and my brain isn't working right, right now.
Gjert have said all season that they dont prioritize WC this year. Quantity has been their goal, to compete as much as possible and then try to be in their best shape in WC without making sacrifices.
From may 30 this year:
"- We can also say that we give a little more ... in the World Cup. We take it as it comes. It's October, and then we're usually done with the season. Then we started with the Olympic season. Should something else happen that made us not get to Doha, we will not die from it. There are other things in the world. There will be an Olympics the following year and the Olympics are much more important than the World Cup. An Olympics comes only every four years. You get a lot of World Cups, but not so many Olympics, ”Gjert Ingebrigtsen told NTB on Wednesday night."
So he should republish under the title "How to Raise an Olympic Champion"
You just need to read that title in a longer perspective. Simple as that. You cant blame Gjert for believing in Jakob with hopefully increasingly better antidoping work worldwise and years to come before he peaks.

You people are so ruthless!
Excuses, excuses ... what else is new with this family? If you believe their interviews, they never hit top form at all this year.

I don't know the man but he and his family seem happy to have done (still do?) that documentary about them so, from what I saw there, I hope he feels like shi t because that's how he treats the other family members far too often.
Maybe that's why the competing brothers treat other competitors like shi_t too.
Its in no way excuses. Its just the Ingebrigsten way of competing and become better. Thats the reason behind the doubling as well, why they choose to run 5k and 1500 meters. To experiment and see what effect it has. To use the experience to become wiser for the seasons to come

That's not what they told the BBC. The feature set them up as favourites. For all the rivalry between Kenya and Ethiopia, both have always had immense respect for the other. The Ingebrigtsens don't seem to respect their rivals at all, and that's their undoing.
https://www.newsinenglish.no/2019/10/06/tragic-for-the-young-ingebrigtsen/I'm sure he's proud of his sons but he didn't write a book called how to raise well adjusted adults. He said world champs and none of them are and only one has a chance. Did he say champion or champions? Cause the plural is never happening.
The latest I heard is Coevette has flown out to Norway to give his condolences to Gjert
Apparently Gjert hasn't seen the NorwayCNN broadcast yet.
.....This is a NATIONAL TRAGEDY!
And Matthew Centrowotz Sr. is pissed off that you stole his book title!
He felt it was better for them to double than to win

I don't think so; the Ingebrigtsen family have filed court paperwork that keeps that rambling Enoch at least 100 metres the hell away from them.
