Now start the analysis of why he lost. And no, this time he didn't hang too far back.

Can we also analyze why you pretend to be Kenyan?
He's like the Manchester United of running (2019 ManU that is)!

Ran world leads in the 5k and has beaten some solid names at 18 but 'undeserved hype'?
Yeah bro... Riiiiiight.
I don't care for the kid and hate the way he pushed his way through the 5k but he's a strong competitor.
That being said, he'll likely get a bronze model in 1500m when Makh is caught doping.

3,30 and 13,02 as well.
aaah, so this is the poster who posts under all kinds of handles and is absolutely obsessed with Jakob. What a whackjob.
Barega's almost the same age. Has run 12:43. Never gets the same coverage.

How do you run world leads without winning?

So you're saying that Barega is older than him even with his age cheating age? Next you'll be telling me grandad Rhonex is a teenager too.

Ha! Rhonex is young. Meaning you'll have to put up with him for the next decade, at least.

Doubt it on many fronts.
Who's his Italian doctor/agent/manager/coach?
Ingebrigtsen looks like he is 25. He probably is close to his peak.
Jakob got taken out to the woodshed and got his a$$ whooped 1500 times.

Where was George in Doha El K?
Remember the time you said something like - 'the funny thing is, George doesn't even see Jakob as a rival'.
A clean European teenager aged 19 years and 2 weeks just came fifth and fourth in two world championship finals losing at most to 2 or 3 guys who might have been clean themselves.
He lost out of the medals mainly for one reason alone; team Ingebrigtsen doesnt have an event that occurs every two years as their main goal. Its all about the olympics next year. Thats the reason why they have competed far more and have had a far longer season then most of their competitor and thats the reason why they gambled on 5k before the 1500 meters. Its all part of their learning curve.

George is taking it gradual. Coach Ouma knows pushing him to run insane times at his age would only shorten his career. He'll have the last laugh.

Shukran El Keniano.
Huu ujumbe ni muhimu sana.
We needed this thread.
The boy goes home devastated.
There is also bad news for his brother Henrik.
So, Jacob goes home DOUBLE devastated!
He is a good athlete but not what people here (and the larger running base circle) make or want him to be.
He is good. Timothy is GREAT!

Very true.
Grandad Rhonex cannot be a teenager.
He is 31, just like Kipchoge was in 2003 when he won the World Championships in Paris.
That was 16 years ago.
TODAY, KIPCHOGE IS 47 AND STILL KICKING EVERYONE ELSE.
In another twelve years, grandad Rhonex will STILL be KICKINGbe people around winning medals and championships at 43.
HAIL TO THE GRANDAD!

Wait!
Jacob is now a grandad? You don't say such things here unless the man is East African.
East Africans have a five O'clock .................. I don't even know what that means and I am serious.
May be I have a five O'clock too.........too.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
