I think this is an accurate assessment of the slippery slope of using thyroid meds. I'll wager that Jenny is still on them.

Word class distance runners are always only going to have 1-2 degrees of separation between them. Everyone at that level has trained with someone who doped, been coached by someone who doped, or at the least has trained with or been coached by someone who was associated/friends with someone who doped.
This is my big problem with a lot of what Jenny and other athletes coming out against the current NOP members as "guilt by association." If you've been in this sport long enough, there's going to be some connection and it is way too easy to trash people based on this. Admittedly, I'd be shocked if Jenny was dirty but I'd be similarly shocked if the likes of Engels, Koko, or Brazier were as well.
If it was only Thyroid meds Dr. Brown was prescribing I don’t think he would have gotten banned by the USADA. The reasons for low Thyroid hormone in endurance athletes certainly don’t apply to athletes like Carl Lewis either. There is more going on here than gray area performance enhancement and Dr. Brown should be criminally investigated and potentially loose his license to practice.
- U R Crazier than Saint Jenny!
- You think that a professional organization like the AMA is going to recognize this Kangaroo Court's decision? The AMA to challenge Dr. Brown's expertise in endocrinology?
Wow, such a simple question to dodge. Well, of course, since she said that any close associations with dopers make it okay to be suspicious...I'm suspicious of Jenny Simpson.
Yeah I was very disappointed by her response. Just looked totally guilty. Did she not think anyone would remember that she had seen doctor doper?
I'm not sure why this isn't a bigger story. In a nutshell:
-Athlete sh*ts all over other athletes for their associations with banned coach and doctor.
-It is revealed that the athlete is also associated with the banned doctor.
-Athlete says her association with doctor is none of your business, invokes medical privacy.
I'm not saying Simpson is a cheater. I'm saying people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

What's wrong with it?
She has a right to dope privately

Maybe this would be better: "Was Jenny Simpson herself actually a Dr. Brown patient? Jenny Simpson doesn't deny that she too was a patient of Dr. Brown's. If she wasn't a patient then she should just deny it. Why doesn't she deny it. Just deny it already!"
From her response, it would certainly seem so.
She said as a matter of principle she doesn't think people should be bothered with questions about medical situations. That's not necessarily a bad answer. Who would not consider that uncouthful? Was it also a dodge? It's cheap to insinuate that and lazy when no one was really entitled to ask the question in that format in the first place. Not bad to want to know necessarily , but the wrong way to do it. I hope the lid gets blown off this system of doping with Dr. Brown and his ilk.

Golden Brown, texture like Kenyans
Lays me down, with my might she runs
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown, with Doctor Brown
Every time just like the last
On her arms tied to the mast
To full retard times
Takes both my crimes
Never a clown with Doctor Brown

If this were an athlete who had not been involved in shouting down those involved in questionable activities she would have a more firm position to stand on. Unfortunately for Jenny even the mere association with a group that cheated before incriminates an athlete who joined two weeks ago. I agree that I don't know why one would join the group but if she is mad about the lack of transparency then she herself needs to be 100% transparent about her own activities that may place her squarely in the gray area.
This is like one political candidate firing at another about shady business practices and then invoking a right to privacy on their own tax returns.

No , she has a history of opening her mouth without thinking. Back stabbing other athletes on camera or off is also her history. She has no friends .
Gault or Rojo , why not follow up on this.

It was a simple yes or no question, dodged by skill only seen amongst politicians. Simpson is a two faced fake, to boot. She's the type from high school that is nice to your face, but then talks shît behind your back.
When/how would you suggest the question be asked then? Why would a reporter not be "entitled" to ask that question?

+1
She is not well liked.

LRC: "Oh. My. God! How dare you speak so poorly of NOP! Get off your high horse!"
