I guess we need to put an asterisk beside those championship medals.

Emma Coburn is also on thyroid meds. Maybe you should ask her, rojo. Everyone is working at least the grey zone.

This seems like a case of whataboutism. Jenny is pointing out problems with other people, they can't defend their actions, so they point out potential problems with her?
I mean I think she's doping too but it doesn't really seem like a grownup argument to me.
Actually, I think Alberto/Nike spent hundreds of thousands -- if not more -- defending their actions and Alberto was banned for conduct that was not found to have provided an illegal performance enhancement for any "athlete" not named Steve Magness. [Please read the transcript.]
Incidentally, Houston-native Magness was a 4:17 high school miler that became a great 4:01 high school miler. Curiously, he was a patient of Dr. Brown in high school.
After watching the Simpson interview, a follow up question should be: Do you think Galen Rupp's medical history should be secret?

Except it's not "they" (people she threw under the bus) who are pointing out her potential problems. It was Jonathan Gault posing the question at Rojo's request. Thanks for playing!

I don't believe Jenny attacked other athletes as if they were doping, but for NOP athletes, who came after the allegations were public knowledge, to say they weren't aware is B.S. Jenny said Alberto should be out and he is for 4 years and she didn't know why others would be a part of the group. She didn't feel sorry for people who joined the group when these allegations were going on and if others thought they cheated. She also said she wasn't going to be judge and jury of who is cheating and doping.
It's a great question to ask about Simpson and Brown, but I would venture to say that a number of athletes saw Brown, but the question isn't whether she saw him ever, but whether she saw him during the time of the allegations and after.
You are fuc king stupid and all you are doing is mental gymnastics.
Nice work, Rojo. The ones who are most outspoken are always the dirty ones. Same with cheating in relationships.
So Jenny, maybe you ARE cheating, isn't it?

- Coach Salazar's son's deserved this privacy as well.
- And yes it can be discussed since St Jenny is a public figure and started the ruckus!

Actually no.
I don't know that this is some big scoop. I thought I read on these boards that the CO coach (Wetmore) had a relationship with Dr. Brown. Likewise all Nike athletes including Schumacher's probably were required to have a visit. The better scoop would be figuring out top athletes that have never seen him. And as a previous posted noted it matters more if they received treatment (Rx / injections/ etc.) vs just saw him for a consult.

When it comes to a doctor who is now synonymous with cheating she may legally have a right to privacy but as a proponent of clean sport she needs to speak on this. It may be completely innocent and before he was under investigation. But after she came out with her comments a few days ago she owes it to track and field world to go into more detail. There is a big difference between medical privacy and what she said. The reality is she is a very public figure in a very dirty sport and a no comment on an association with a Dr convicted by USADA stinks to high hell.
This was an extremely disappointing response by her and it came off as very suspicious. There were several ways she could have handled this and I believe she chose a bad route.

What is the timeline on this? Was Dr. Brown working with NOP at the time Simpson was his patient? Had any of the allegations against him emerged at that point in time?
Could somebody clarify this, please? Yes or no, is the claim being made here that Simpson was a patient of Brown's at a point in time AFTER he became involved in cheating? Or are we criticizing Simpson for not having the foresight to know that the doctor she was seeing would later become unethical?

if she was not a dr brown patient she would say that
Jenny tried playing all high and mighty speaking out against all Alberto affiliated athletes when in fact she to was seeing Dr. Brown. Her little speech back fired a bit huh?

That is very stupid logic. The ppl like Jenny who don't cheat are sick of being quiet about the ones who they think are. Way to go Jenny.
Good work Rojo. Man , all the finger pointers were Dr Brown patients ......
He seems to have "treated" a lot of US track athletes, not just NOP. I doubt Simpson would make a trip to Texas from Colorado just to be treated for something non-athletic.
