I was wondering about #2 as well. The girl who won GAXC last year joined NC State so it's definitely possible. Or maybe she's just a big Grant Fisher fan and wanted to impress him.

They still hope to compete well enough as a team to have a chance to get to Portland. Did not have full team at GA. Manhattan this weekend may show more, or else a month later at Federation meet. Probably tough to beat Saratoga Springs though, forget about FM. I think she would also like to try to win NXN for 3rd straight year, unprecedented. She was visiting NC State after the race I saw.
