I agree, he looks "on his game" again

What team blew the handoff? I thought it was US. It was out in late 7 or so, and the outgoing runner had to stop and wait.
Although watching the replay, our handoffs weren't very fast either.
That was France. C'est merde.

There's nothing strange that 8/12 are non-african. Guess how many of them were non-african in London final 2017. Do you know? 8/12 were non-african.
Only 6/12 in 2017 by my count

It's 7/12, but Coevett was talking about East Africans. Kenya usually gets 3 in, but of course Elijah Manangoi is out with injury, so according to Coevett that tiny note is somehow some major argument that drugs are the reason or something like that. How about Filip having a dogsh** meet and Kwemoi looking great in his semi's. Must be Filip having to lay back on his stuff, and Kwemoi having natural talent?

8 runners represented non-african countries.
The USA passes were disgraceful again. Totally different lineup for the final, but who is (NOT) coaching these? How is this still a problem?
3rd US men's handoff nearly a complete miss
Who are the geniuses in charge of the relay team that thinks it's a good idea to run your best two people in the 4 x 100? I mean even if we had a good exchange on the final exchange , we'd have lost the prelim.
It's just so stupid. You need to have your best guys last so you can figure out how risky you want to be on the exchanges at the end.
Usual dogshit handoffs from US. You have to actually try to be this bad
Coleman -> Gatlin (1st handoff) was bad too

Or maybe not even nearly? It was very close, but I haven't seen good camera angle yet.
Same sh!t different year
looked over to me
"USA men's 4x100 is through at the moment... Filip Ingebrigsten is handling their appeal." LOL
I seem to recall Japan medalling in the 4x1 in a major champs some time recently. All because they were flawless on the exchanges. Each guy was probably 0.25-0.5s slower than the big name countries athletes but they made it up on the technicals.
The US really needs to sort out its relays. How many times do they screw it up?
4x100 Mens 2nd heat was competitive through the final straight

Island, an African paid to wear a Bahrain singlet once a year is still African

Silver in Rio and bronze in 2017. They are always going to contend, and PR China now a player.
Does this high jumper think that not having the beard on side of his face that goes near the bar when he tries to clear help him clear it easier?
