Looks like there are going to be 4 men's top 10 teams racing. North Central, UW-Lacrosse, Johns Hopkins, MIT
Women's race appears to be a bit less top heavy with just MIT and RPI in the top 10.
No predictions, but I'm eager to see results, so thanks for the thread and the info. The only reason the men's race is more "top heavy" is because Hopkins' women are (deservedly) running in "Gold" race. For both genders, don't try comparing times from that race to the "Silver" one later in the day. Besides being pulled along by faster pack, the early races (Men's Gold 9:30a) could have ideal temps (after overnight low of 54), whereas later races (Women D3 pre-nats is at 1:45) will face mid 80's (current forecast 86). That's quite a change.
Regardless of podium predictions, both races are very deep, so very relevant for at-large bids.
Men's teams: #1 NC, #5 UW-LAX, #9 JHopkins, #11 MIT, #14 Otterbein, #16 RPI, #18 (tied) Emory & #18 Case W, #22 UC-Santa Cruz, #23 J Carroll, #33 St. Thomas
Women: #1 Hopkins (Gold), #7 MIT, #11.5 RPI, #13 UW-Lax, #14 Oberlin, #15 St Thomas, #16 Hope, #22 Case W, #25 UC-Santa Cruz, #27 BaldwinWallace, #28 Centre, #31 J Carroll, #24 Emory
It's often a fast course, I really hope the forecast changes and it's cooler than 86
