It's not the rabbit food itself, but the Roundup (shorter living through chemistry) sprayed on it just before shipping to keep bugs off that'll kill you. Eating organic only helps.

How about your taste buds? You really want to give up a juicy T-bone steak?

Looking at the diets around the world of some of the healthiest people, the consensus seems to be that the best thing to do is to not go vegan but to reduce meat intake. Eating meat 3-5 times a week instead of everyday, giving you most of the benefits of veganism and a standard omnivore diet.
People are attracted to extremes, what I call "binary thinking". One or zero, all or nothing. Few things in life are like that, especially if you're dealing with the natural world and not machines or computers.
This is just my opinion based on a lifetime of thinking and reading about this stuff. Trial and error, etc.
#1 rule - minimize junk/crap food....everyone already knows this and knows exactly what junk food is, including vegan junk food.
#2 rule - maximize "whole foods" and minimally processed foods: potatoes, beans, greens, veg, fruit, even a quality steak now and then. Stuff that comes straight from the farm, from nature...and doesn't come to you through a factory where it's altered.
#3 rule - keep animal products in check - eliminate drinking cow milk 100%. Meat intake max would be 20% of your diet, but probably better to keep it 10% to 5% even. But it doesn't need to be zero. Probably shouldn't be zero. A steak now and then is good and certainly better for you than some kind of vegan processed fake meat. That said, the standard American diet with animal products for pretty much every meal, breakfast lunch and dinner every day is really bad. I'm convinced of this.
That's how I see it.

A girl I was dating tried to convert me into a vegan. I went with it for about a month, but it absolutely killed my sex drive. Couldn't get it up for anything, and this girl was absolutely gorgeous (probably why I went with the whole idea in the first place.) Anyway, she wound up leaving me for that exact reason, of course, but it was probably for the best. I went out that same night to go treat myself, booked a table for one at a fancy restaurant and got the nicest steak they had. Took a bite, instantly got a bonerr, and came all over the table. Problem solved.
You are gay, just face it.

Absolutely not! Humans are carnivores.
Should you eat less meat? Absolutely.
This response nicely encapsulates the conflict between biology (our requirements as animal beings) and food politics (wanting to fit in with an imposed cultural narrative). If you were a zookeeper trying to keep a large carnivore healthy and vigorous, would you be increasing it's plant intake at the expense of it's species-preferred food of meat, fish and eggs?
Actually, I meant to say humans are omnivores. Carnivores would imply we only eat meat - like cats.
Humans are meant to eat nuts, seeds, plants and animals. The exact ratio may differ from human too human. I'm not sure we know exactly what is should be for each of us.
However, you are correct that there is a tension between what is best for us vs what is best for the planet. Animals crazing on grasslands is very good for the planet. Huge, sterile feedlots feeding animals grains or processed grasses are not. Given the number of humans, it might be difficult to feed all of us a lot of meat just on animals feeding on grasslands in a sustainable way.
It hard to say if my desire to eat less meat is driven by that or the feeling that less meat (even healthy meat) is better. Frankly I don't know the right amount of meat. So my feelings must be the former rather than the later.
I will say that Woody Kincaid was Vegan for awhile, and although it probably isn't the only reason he got hurt, the Nike dieticians(who I can only imagine are extremely well versed in dieting for high level athletes) did encourage him to go start introducing fish into his diet. So from what I understand he is a pescatarian now and he's definitely crushing it on the running scene.
You were right the first time.

Yes, exactly. This is why I counsel all of my patients on eating raw red meat only and cutting all vegetables out of their diet. With raw red meat, we know exactly where it came from, how it was prepared, and it has NO CARCINOGENS.

I mean, I'm not, but what would be the problem if I was? You have a problem with gay people? Homophobe. Trying to call someone gay like it's an insult. You're a biggot and a$$hole.

The science is settled. Raw red meat is the optimal human diet.
You could have just stopped at "I am a doctor of naturopathic medicine".

Yeah, because we know exactly where the cattle came from, what they ate, and what was done to their food before they ate it. I will tell you that unless you raised the cattle yourself, you have NO IDEA what was done to cattle or meat before it hit your plate.
You know what won't hurt? Pay as much attention in English class as you did in your Health class.
Decades-long study: Eat vegan, stave off heart disease and cancer. Of course, Dr. Campbell has loads of detractors (meat, dairy industries).
Read it, draw your own conclusions.

Yes because I care about how my grammar is on a discussion board. Did I get the point across? Yes, yes I did

This may come as a shock to you, but homosexuality was considered to be deviant and immoral since the beginning of time in most societies and civilizations until just very recently. You can say that's good or bad. People have different viewpoints on moral standards.
