There is literally no concrete evidence that vaping has been linked to ANY illness or death, just a bunch of BS reporting. Who's behind this crap?

Thanks for your input Phillip Morris. As history has shown us, there are few entities quite as trust worthy and honorable as the good, hard-working people at big tobacco. You should keep your trust in them.
I think the fact that the government let Juul and vaping get to the point where it is now is shadier.
The government loves to make life harder for us.
Want to quit smoking and shift to healthier vapes? NO! JUST DIE!
Vaping has helped millions of Americans get off cigs with little detriment. The injuries from vaping are from black-market vape cartridges; now the FDA wants to make most cartridges black-market. Where have I seen this before? Has prohibition ever worked? It's mind-boggling....
Nearly 500,000 die annually from tobacco.
Ten of thousands die annually from guns somehow, including hundreds in mass shootings.
What do we ban?
Lawn darts. Three kids died in 20 years, so BAN.
e-cigarettes. Five or six die, so BAN.
I think all these people dieing from vaping have some type of vendetta.
You're just upset because you can no longer buy your mango and bubble gum flavored nicotine. Not sure how many adults are looking for the fruity flavored nicotine to replace their cigarettes, but that is what the kids are buying. They introduced a bunch of highly addictive, dangerous products targeted towards kids (that's why they sell them at the mall and it convenience stores) and now they are getting taken to task for it. They deserve every little rebuke, ban, censure, lawsuit, etc. that they are getting.
As a conservative who is a staunch advocate of limited government, I believe that we must ban vaping because Donald Trump said so.
You're both naive and selfish - what a surprise. Adults, people who switch from cigs, and first time vape users all prefer fruit/sweet flavored vapes over anything else. The notion that only kids buy these is flat out wrong and banning them is a public health disaster. Don't believe me?https://media.springernature.com/lw685/springer-static/image/art%3A10.1186%2Fs12954-018-0238-6/MediaObjects/12954_2018_238_Fig4_HTML.png From this article:https://harmreductionjournal.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12954-018-0238-6

Obviously, uptight stiffs are just jealous of how cool vaping is.

I bet it has helped even more than that get hooked on vaping that never considered cigarettes.

Don't get it confused, it has nothing to do with "public health" and everything to do with vaping cutting into sales of tobacco and cigarettes. Who do you think lobbies harder, brand new vaping companies, or legacy cigarette companies?
Everybody knows vaping helps people quit smoking, and we can't have that.
You all would've been arguing for the prohibition in the 1910s... What else should we ineffectively ban?Even if more people were taking up vaping than would be smoking (something you've shown no evidence for beyond "I bet"), the health gains from switching from smoking are >>> the health negatives from beginning vaping. So it's still in public interest to incentivize the switch, even with risk of increase in vape users.

Look at how much money states make from cigarette taxes. You think they want people quitting?
Cigarette taxes are also unjust, but I doubt I will win that argument here. Furthermore, cigarette users cost the healthcare system a ton so "I bet" it's a net negative. Let's stay on topic.

Hahaha what? It's the heating of the vapor itself that causes problems. But you have one descent point is there isn't enough evidence to support any hypothesis. That's the whole problem with this vaping craz. It was being marketed as super safe and now it's definitely has been a part in many deaths and dozens of sicknesses.
Sry you're obviously a vapor, hahaha if that's what they're called ?, but ya might want to listen more and stop
I see a lot of vaping in high school, these are not ex smokers coming off a long dangerous road of smoking - they are kids taking up a new type of smoking because they think it is harmless. Sad is what it is.
Cigs can take like 40 years to kill you. Vapes can kill you in like a year. Now that's what I call progress!
