The video isn't out yet. Only the VLOG version for it which contains a small look at it but is not the full "Workout Wednesday" video. We need to wait for the full video, with all splits and seeing how relaxed she is at different speeds before drawing any conclusions.
Anything other than her dominating this season would be a huge upset/surprise btw, but doubt it will happen she has been too consistent.
Count me as someone who would not be surprised if she doesn't dominate the competition like she did the past two seasons at the national level in XC.
Her outdoor 1500 times:
8th grade: 4:24.36
9th grade: 4:18.51
10th grade: 4:14.45
11th grade: 4:25.21
She was exceptionally lean at NXN her sophomore year. It's unlikely she'll ever be that lean again.
I think you are being a little selective with your choice of 1500 times - I dont think she tried to run a fast 1500 time in 2019. She did run the 4:36 1600 m leg at Penn Relays, which of course still lags her 10th grade time. But her 11th grade XC times were faster than 10th grade, as was her indoor 3,000 m time.
Hopefully this will not become a discussion of weight, but in any case this Milesplit video shows her as of late August.
https://www.milesplit.com/videos/402149I would say in all likelihood at least some of her competitors will be somewhat closer to her this year - for one thing Hart had a bad day at NXN last year finishing almost 1 minute behind Tuohy. Ewert was closest except for Chmiel who now has graduated, and she was about 30 seconds behind. I would think between Masciarelli, Hart and Starliper, and perhaps someone else, someone will close last years gap some.
But I guess we will know for sure in 3 months.
