I feel like if Drew listened to his body and was patient with getting healthy, he'd be where Woody is right now. Both have had serious foot issues and the only difference between them was that Woody kept his season easy prior to USA's and the Portland 5000 to make sure he didn't re-injure himself
Gotta think running a 12:58 feels better than making the worlds team (with a 5th place finish at that) and then dropping out. Looking back , maybe it would've been better to be smart and get healthy and then try to knock out the Olympic standard later in the year.
Of course that wasn't really an option until BTC decided to make it happen themselves
