If this time trial had been held on any other track where runners actually compete, whether it be high school, college, etc., there would be virtually no doubt about its legitimacy.

I don't think that anybody really doubts the accuracy of the measurement. People just like bashing Nike or Jerry or whoever they can. If you had a one on one conversation with all these anonymous letsrunners, in person, I bet that none would say that they really feel that the track is short.

We need to get Woody Kincaid into the 10K/marathon.

Dude's mile equivalent is just baaaaaarely under 4 minutes and he ran it this year. His 800m PR is 1:57.55 (from 2011, but still, he would've been in college).

He's a great 5K runner, but if he is as endurance-heavy as his PBs suggest, he might be a monster in the 10K and 'thon, like Rupp.

But it's a moot point compared to whether doping control was present. There's a quick and easy way to set a 20 second PB, and only one way to prove that's not what happened here.

The track's measurement is OK. As for doping control, I don't know. But there is no way to prove that's not what happened here. No such proof will ever be available, doping control or not.

It's not a huge leap to think this guy could improve from 13:12 to sub 13:00 on a perfect night with perfect conditions in a perfect time trial race on a perfect (wind-guarded) track, especially as he has shown other signs of fitness recently.

However, he would help his case a lot if he could replicate the feat a couple more times in plain sight.

The signs are all there they are not clean. Why do you think they have not raced at all this year. Its a clever training strategy as racing a lot takes a toll ill give it that but they are not racing because they don't want to be tested. It's brilliant really. Just train and dope all season and don't race to keep USADA off your nuts then do a random low key last-second certified time trial to get one of your guys in. Perfect. And who chuck is Woddy why is nobody asking? Check out his TFFRS he is a 13:30 D1 guy turned 12:58. Any 13:30 guy can do that if they are sprinkling EPO on their frosted flakes in the morning. Tony the Tiger has got that good stuff. All the kids at the track that night are being sold a Nike lie. Shameful.

1) athletes are still tested by usada randomly even if they don't race. At that, not even all races test.

2) kincaid ran 13:12 his first year as a pro. His whole collegiate career was dogged by injuries. All of 2017/18, he was injured again.

3) the fact that you didn't know who kincaid was in the first place basically negates anything you've got to say or your opinion toward the kid. You're obviously poorly educated in terms of track and field to begin with.

4) your "any 13:30 guy with Epo can do that" statement is not even close to true.

I think its fair to question the legitimacy of his time. You said it yourself, he was injured throughout college, and then again injured in 2017/2018...and still ran sub 13?

I need to see proof that those three athletes have been tested out of competition this year. Not that that proves they are clean obviously corrupt USADA and WADA and TUE's and the like.

Your right my statement that "any 13:30 guy with Epo can do that" is not even close to true because even slower PR's are capable of great times on drugs.

If you look at Cathal Lombard you can see a great improvement almost entierly due to drug usage. But you're so educated in track and field you for sure already know this.
