The chunky girls in the local swim league are walking around with perma-wedgies. Can't be comfortable.

Yes it happened. No it isn't funny. It's been overturned.
It was simply some racist sh**.
All swimmers wore the same model suits.

Yep its over turned with the recommendation the official is decertified.
But where is the racist stuff coming from?
The dq’d girl, according to her coach, was multiracial & had more curves. Racism, with a little jealousy thrown in no doubt.

That's why it's funny.

It moved
WHERE ARE THE PICS??!??!!?
This might be an unpopular opinion, but if the girls were "curvy" (as one article described them), shouldn't they be wearing a larger size swim suit?
Or, it might just be a racist act.

Why would you wear the "same model suit" as someone who has a vastly different body type from your own? The "curvy" people in my office don't show up to work wearing the same model of slacks that I wear.
Breckynn Willis benches 150 lbs, her coach says (CNN). Only 2 other girls he ever coached could lift that, he stated.
I used to swim with this girl at a young age. Her and her sister are pretty hard partiers, I wouldn't be surprised if it was on purpose or if it was accidental. I'd say 40\60 odds. But they are a very nice family and talented swimmers.

Suits are extremely important in terms of aerodynamics in the water. There are many dirty world-records from the era of men speedsuits. Biedermann for example holds two of the most prestigious world records in swimming because there was a time in swimming were these things were actually allowed. Imagine Athletics allowing everyone to do doping for 2-years - many WR's would be broken.
Not sure how much the larger size would matter, but could be a reason if it has more surface area or is heavier.
Reports say her sister was targeted as well (same official). Sounds like the official never got invited to those parties.

Now and days racist means person I don't like. Sad.
It is of vital importance that butt cheek proximity be closely monitored in all sporting events. Kudos to the referee for directing her attention to this matter.
Good point- did not consider drag in the equation. Thanks.
This thread is useless without pics.

These people weren't at "work". They're swimming on a high school swim team, wearing the suits for their team.

Wait, is someone saying she's a dude?
