Starts roughy 7pm Aus time. And yes, the downhill nature renders it not record eligible. Anyone got a live stream (non-UK)?
And also start and finish too far apart, judging from the map: www.greatrun.org/great-north-run/event-info.
The BBC One coverage is starting now. The women's race starts in about 35 minutes.

Magdalyne Masai (Jake Robertson's wife) is also racing.

64:28 !!!!!
According to bbc commentary 10 miles was 49:21
So last 5k in 15:07 ? Is the WR in play in Chicago ?
Mo Farah wins in 59:06 better than Wanders 59:13, but NOT ELIGIBLE for Record purposes.

Possibly and she will have Hasay Pushing her every step of the way in a dream race, Kosgei has to be favored after this.
