And actually, aside from Tim, only Manangoi junior from Kenya has ran under 3:32 this season - and at that at Monaco.
In 2012 five Kenyans ran under 3:32 (and another ran 3:32.08), and three under 3:30.
What's changed is primarily that Europeans are catching up (two Ingebrigtsens and Charlie Grice running 3:30).
Oh, and it's sort of ironic that you're proclaiming that guys running 3:30 'for fun' is a golden age, when a few weeks ago you claimed that low 3:28 was the clean limit.
