Did he go anywhere?
Great, great run. I'm more impressed with how he ran it (all alone) than his finishing time or win.
What a run (and nice $50,000 payday).

Nah he never did. But you know how most of these hatters on these boards are. That was a good run. Happy for him.
I'm more surprised at Amos' hamstring holding up the whole race. Especially with that very quick 1st lap

He just ran a 400 in 44.99 so the hamstring can't be too bad.

Tru. Probably just ran out of gas.
Anyone has a link to the replay?

Without the win or the time would his running 800 meters all alone be impressive? If so, I ran 5 miles this morning, all alone, before sunrise, too. there was not a $50k check at the end though.

Youtube it, I don’t want to post it and get the channel DMCA’d. “Zurich Diamond League 800m” sort by today.
Amazing run. Channeling some Wottle.
I don't like his form and think he weighs too much. I think he needs to increase his mileage as well. He should be threatening the world record right now.

He is on the heavier side but man he finished like a train. A lot of potential is there.
Brazier passed about 7 people in the stretch coming from way back in a race that went out too fast, but he outsmarted the field. Ran on Clayton's shoulder for about 80 per cent of the race.

I’m sure Pete Julian needs your expert advice.
I posted in the USATF messages that he had 1:42 in him ... and look what we get!

That was tremendous composure by Brazier to run the first lap with a 2.5 second deficit and to wait until 600m to claw much of it back. 25.7 close in a 1:42.70 race is impressive, and the 50.8/51.9 split differential is 1.1s, indicating that he is capable of going low 1:42 this year. He really had a lot left. 12.7 last 100m. That is just a tenth of a second off Gray's record 800m from 1985. He also passed Solomon (and a bunch of other guys who had run faster than his 1:43.55, including Symmonds, Everett, and Kenah) for 2nd U.S. all-time.

You're totally cracking me up.

DMCA'd = FLO'D.
LOL I am joking. He's one of my favorite runners. I am just echoing the stupid criticisms that often come from this board.

This guy has the potential to medal at Doha. I'm telling you. He's doing something right. Sometimes when you try to tweak stuff that's working things tend to go south for the winter.
