Poorly written.
Granted, they talk about the "international field" so they don't list Dathan or Stinson or Sara Sellers, yet they make mention of the Americans that have recently withdrawn.
Excited to see what Alice Wright does in her debut.

This. Huge fan of hers, though I'm keeping my expectations in check.
Mo will have a hard time at Chicago with Getaneh Molla. Who ran 2:03:34 at Dubai and ran 8:18 at the Pre 2 miler, he did both of those times about 5 months apart. Holy sheet.
Insane the year he has had:
January 25: 2:03:34 at the Dubai marathon
March 15: 60:26 half marathon
June 30: 8:18 2 miler at the Pre meet
And went 12:59 for 5000m last year.
The Womens Field looks Other Than Kosgei looks VERY WEAK, Once the Americans are added it not as bad, What a Duel Between Kosgei and Hasay it will be for win, Hopefully both go under 2:17.00, Kosgei looked great in London, so Kosgei may even be slightly favored over Hasay, But Hasay said after Boston she wants Kastor's American Record, she will have to run the race of her life to win.
Anyone know why any Cragg withdrew?

She was injured for a while and ran a 73 half & more recently a 34:39 10k at B2B. Wrote an IG post saying her fitness didn't come back fast enough. Still 5.5 weeks to go so it seems a bit early but I guess she was only showing up if she thought she was going to be competitive. Puts a big question mark next to her name for the Trials.
Amy isn't ready to roll yet. Shalane just started running. Des is being coy about if she'll even do the Trials. I think the women's side is going to be wide open in ATL. Watch those 3 all make the team but we could see some new Olympians.
None of these three will make the team.

Anyone who has run fast in Dubai can't replicate it anywhere else. Also don't forget Bekele's solo pre 10,000m in 2008 was over 3 8:30 2 milers combined at the same time. 8:18 is 20 seconds slower then the WR. We will forget who Getaneh is before the Olympics next year. I'm looking forward to seeing what marathon Bekele does this fall/winter

So weak that 5 out of the top ten will be American!

It would be great if he ran Chicago and destroyed the field. I'm not sure what race he will do. If he was doing Berlin I would have expected to hear about it unless he wants to surprise us all there by showing up to destroy the field. I have a sneaking suspicious that Abu Dhabi of Fuckuoka is on the cards
I’m guessing Frankfurt or Amsterdam for Bekele’s DNF this fall.

Truthfully, that 2 mile is nothing for an elite man. Easily the least impressive of the performances you listed.
