Do you actually think they don't know they're banned?
Do you counsel them on their misuse?
Do you ask them if they're taking the diuretics for masking PED use?
Do you believe what they tell you?

During the 90s, Diurex was a well know product young girls would take to counteract menstrual bloating. I don't know if it was banned back then, but I don't think athletes were taking it to enhance their performance. The usage is not something I had a direct conversation with an athlete about, my knowledge is anecdotical. I did not have much to say about it because at that time I did not know much about it. Back then, doping to me was a steroid or a stimulant. Also, as a male coaching teenage females, I avoided getting into female issues.
