9:00 Hold it, Parker Stinson is still in Eugene?
This is really lame.

This has to stop, it is simply too damaging for the sport. USATF should ban this behavior.
As a libertarian, I believe there should be a rule that former professional runners cannot generate a financial gain from running or running related activities after retirement.

It's not a horrible concept, although Nick still comes across as extremely douchey. I don't blame the mom for being a bit skeptical about letting her kids near him.
Thought he could have at least let one of the kids take the $100.
No this is just Nick being a free-spirit.
Lay off him...you wish you could do stuff like this and be interesting to normal corn-fed Americans. Plus he scores hella girlz.
All 36 year old men still brag about scoring chicks, but the difference is that he's the only one who can actually do it. ---and you can't.....

Hi, Nick. Is that you?
One wonders, about time to get a real job? It all seems somewhat purposeless to me.
2 reasons i see him doing this. One very minor one and the obvious one.
He’s of course trying to promote the run gum and spread the brand out there.
The real reason however is that he, like others who were accustomed to getting a lot of attention and having some sort of “fame” even within the niche sport that is track and field, and he is missing that! He isn’t doing it for what’s happening in the moment it’s to post the video to get ppl talking about him, he’s feeding off of this. He doesn’t want to disappear into oblivion and just be a business owner he knows that if he loses relevance he will lose business and lose his identity. The brand is sustainable only in track and field and that’s a very small market.
Male version of Kara Goucher, look at me.
I'm normally with the majority here and cant stand these things but this one was different.
I L-O-V-E-D it
great vid
More quality content from the CEO of Run Gum. Really impressed with this guy's knack for business and media savvie. Not to mention handsome and athletic to boot! And does anyone know if he ever ran competitively? Obv not the greatest competition in the video, but he's clearly got some wheels!
What is the point of beating hobbyjoggers when you're a (former) world class runner? If I was tops at my profession, I'd take no joy in beating average people. This was pathetic.
